Breakfast special: Steamed banana (Pazham puzhungiyathu)



Nutritious, tasty, easy to make breakfast. That is today's feature.



Ingredients:

  • Kerala Banana/ Ethapazham - 4
  • Honey 
  • Cinnamon dust or powder


Preparation:
  • Cut the banana into big pieces and steam them in a closed vessel for 10 mins.
  • Check if the banana has become soft. If so switch off the stove.

  • Remove the peel from the banana slices and chop into smaller pieces.
  • Pour honey for taste and garnish with cinnamon dust or powder.
Healthy breakfast is ready to eat.

You can team this up with a sunny side up. Having a glass of milk or fruit juice along with this makes a perfect healthy breakfast.
