A very simple, healthy and elegant sweet which you can prepare in 30 mins.

- Raw papaya (not ripe papaya) - 1
- Sugar - 1/2 cup
- Ghee (butter)
- Milk - 1/2 cup
- Sweet condensed milk (like Milkmaid) - 3 spoons
Preparation:
- Wash the raw papaya thoroughly and peel off the skin.
- Grate it finely.
- Take a pan and pour ghee. Wait till it melts.
- Add the grated papaya to the pan and stir for 5 mins.
- Add sugar and continue to stir for 5 mins.
- Add milk and stir for 10 mins.
- Close it with a lid and wait for 5 mins.
- Now add the condensed milk and ghee and continue to stir for 5 mins.
Papaya halwa is ready now. You can also add a scoop of ice cream to the halwa to get the taste of hot & cold at the same time!
PS: Alternatively you can use carrot instead of papaya to get Carrot Halwa.
